Illuminated M gear shift knob kit. Upholstered in suede leather- this is the early “mushroom” shape shifter. Originally this only came on E30 M3 Sport EVO 3 cars but it also fits any other BMW with push on mounted gear knob. This has the M specific dog leg shifting pattern badge and adds that little bit of motorsport attitude to your ride.The kit includes the needed illumination wiring harness for easy install on your car.These are brand new Original BMW parts.Mounting: Just remove the plugs on the cigarette lighter illumination bulb holder and connect them to the two plugs with square white plug housings (the 2nd picture) on the new wiring kit. Some Early E30 models that have the cigarette lighter bulb holder welded to the cars wiring harness are not plug and play. You will need to weld the 2 power wires to the new wiring kit or install 2 small female plug ends on the existing cars side wiring.Fits: Any old BMW with push on mounted gear shift knob. Will NOT fit the early cars with wind on mounted gear shift knobs.
